Spiritual, but not religious.

Whether it’s a wedding, a funeral, or the heartfelt celebration of a young girl’s transition into womanhood, ceremony has always been an integral and meaningful part of our living experience. Human beings mark the passage of time by remembering how old we are through the number of birthdays we have celebrated. We honor and cherish our spouses by lovingly counting the years since we spoke our vows. Fundamentally, nothing has changed in this regard. The only difference is that, in many cases, we have forgotten that these events are sacred occasions, deeply rooted in ancestral traditions and divinely inspired. You don’t need to subscribe to a traditional religion to hold sacred ceremony.
